為什麼貓王叫做「貓王」?
貓王原名Elvis Aaron Presley，出生於美國南方田納西州的夢菲斯(Memphis)小鎮，南方歌迷暱稱Elvis為The Hillbilly Cat，貓是由此而來，至於王呢，則是因為他在美國搖滾樂界的地位，被統稱為The King，所以華人圈在稱呼Elvis Aaron Presley這名字落落長的歌王，就乾脆叫他貓王。
後來被香港,大陸及華人引用而稱呼,換言之,其他國家根本沒叫他貓王
